About Me I'm just a nice Christian girl, living my life for God as best I can. I make mistakes and I stumble, but I get back up, dust myself off, ask God for forgiveness, then rest assured, knowing that I've been forgiven. I seek God's help with the trials and troubles in my life and I give God full control of my life to change me as He wants me to be. I'm still a work in progress as God is continuing to do a great work in me! I don't think I will ever be finished, as there is always room for improvement and work that needs to be done in me. But God is faithful and He who started a great work will finish! I've been through alot and I've come to know that God is trustworthy! He will provide your every need, all you have to do is ask. He's right there waiting for you, wanting to help you, but you must ask for His help and have faith in Him. There's nothing that's impossible with God. "Everyting is possible for him who believes." ~Mark 9:23 I've also come to know that everything happens for a reason. We may not know why at the time or we may never know why, but there is a reason. Some things happen to make us stronger, some to increase our faith, some to add to our testimony as a witness to what God can do, and sometimes we may have to go through something so we can better understand it and be able to help someone else through the same thing in the future. Bad things happen and we don't always know why, but there's never any reason to lose faith or trust in God or to get angry for what happens. God is never there to hurt you..God loves you. He can turn the bad into something good and help you through whatever comes your way. Recently, I've come to believe God has called me to full time ministry. I feel led to music minstry. I know I may not have the best voice, but God is able. For what He has called me to do He will enable me to do! I also believe that Faith Ministries is to be my ministry. Mission of Faith Ministries: To witness the power of faith, hope, love, and God's truth through song and word.

Rebecca Lynn is one talented young lady. Her unique vocals and performance make for a combination all her own. Growing up among a family of country music lovers, with a grandfather and cousins who were musicians fostered her musical desire. When asked who her greatest influences are she says, "My family has been a huge influence, but ultimately it's Reba McEntire and Susie Luchsinger who have taught me to reach for my dreams and have inspired me the most when it comes to singing."
She began performing at a first grade Christmas program and went on to perform at nursing homes, churches, and various events throughout the area. Along the way she has been a member of both the elementary and high school select choir, was featured in the sixth grade talent show, and participated in the 4-H Share The Fun Talent Show. More recently she has been a member of both her local church choir and the Gospel Revelations Choir. Her true talent and zeal for music came, however, when she dedicated her life to the Lord and that certainly shines through to anyone who's met her. Her genuine love for others, faithfulness, and faith in the Lord is a true inspiration.
Throughout her life, Rebecca has gone through alot of tough times. But, through it all, God has been her saving grace. Upon graduating high school, in 2002, she attended college for Elementary Education. As the demands of college and the numerous obsticles that kept standing in her way became overwhelming, she reached a self-proclaimed "low-point" in her life. "There was depression and alot of problems with anxiety," she says, "It was often a struggle just to make it through the day." Realizing there was a better plan for her life, she made a recommitment to God, vowing to live out God's will for her life. She began praying, asking God to help her and reveal His will for her life. She continued with this, but the days weren't getting any better. In fact, things were getting worse.
The anxiety was getting worse, hardly a day went by without some type of anxiety attack. There were financial problems that were only getting worse. And, no matter how hard she tried, she just couldn't seem to find a job or God's calling for her life. She soon reached a breaking point..a point in her life where she just couldn't take it anymore.
It was a warm summer day, in the surrounding of her bedroom, when she dropped to her knees and cried out to the Lord. It was at that point that she gave God full control over her life. As she nelt there on her knees, she surrendered all..all the anxiety, depression, financial issues...all the hurt and pain she was feeling deep inside...she gave it all to God. She knew God would see her through and deliver her from the depression and anxiety that terrorized her life. It was a slow process, and at times she felt like giving up. But, through it all her saving grace was God. He became her strength..her shelter...her refuge...her comforter. She prayed desperately for God's will in her life and for Him to relieve her from all she was going through.
It was just as she was about to lose everything that God intervened in her life, delivering her from the depression and anxiety, sending financial blessings, and providing for her needs. While things in her life were beginning to improve, there was still something missing from her life. It was then that she began focusing on finding her purpose in life. She made it her mission to discover God's will for her life.
Within the next two years, she began feeling drawn toward music and singing. The more she prayed, the more her desire for singing increased. She soon discovered a talent for writing songs (lyrics), getting two of them published in a book of poetry. Still, she wasn't at all convinced this was her calling. Doubting her singing ability, she abandonded the idea several times. But, it was as though she couldn't turn away from this. There was always something or someone there to lead her back in that direction, not to mention the feeling of constant proddings from the Lord to take a step of faith. It was after going through a time of much prayer, questioning, doubting, and counceling from other Christians and pastors that she realized this is something God wants her to do in her life. Realizing that bringing the message of faith, hope, love, and God's truth to the world for Christ was her purpose, she made a commitment to God, vowing to dedicate herself and her talents to music ministry for the service of God and helping others.
After the journey she's taken, her ministry is not another Christian ministry. She knows, through experience that faith can move mountains and that prayer changes things. Because she's been there she has a heart felt desire to help those in need and to express the love of God, bringing hope to those who feel no one cares. When singing she sings each song from the heart, with as much passion as she has to offer, because she not only sings the words, she believes them. She often shares her testimony after singing in hopes that her story will inspire others to have complete faith in God in all things and to keep hope alive in even the darkest times, because God will see you through.
Looking back now, I can clearly see the love and protection of God through all the difficulties I've faced. I can see that it has all happened for a reason..to make me stronger..to teach me to trust in God..to strengthen my faith..and to give me a testimony to share with others. "If I can help make the path a little gentler for those traveling behind me, lead someone to the Lord, bring hope and inspiration to others, then that's what it's all about."
